Join the festival fun at Casino Community Garden!

On Saturday 9th of April, Casino Community Garden will transform into an Easter Holiday festival venue, for the very first Flicks in the Sticks open air cinema and family festival. There will be a whole swag of activities going off at the garden from 4pm until late, with entertainment and activities for kids, families, young adults and grown ups too.

There will be an outdoor movie screening of the fantastic PG rated movie “Inside Out” so if you want to enjoy this film under the stars, make sure you bring a picnic blanket, some cushions or a chair and some warm clothes.

To keep the kids entertained, we’ll have a petting zoo, a jumping castle, face painting artists and an Easter egg hunt. For the young at heart, there will be live local music and a silent disco. And for everyone to enjoy, there’s even games, amusement rides, raffles and prizes.

If you feel a bit peckish, you can peruse the market stalls selling locally produced food, produce and tasty snacks and refreshments. We’re not kidding when we say there’s something for everyone!

Come join in the fun! Bring your family and friends, meet some new people and bring our community together. Entry by gold coin donation. This is a drug and alcohol free event. Flicks in the Sticks is a collaboration between Casino Neighbourhood Centre, Casino Angels, Lend-a-Hand and Playquest.
